Christie Monsalve

Christie Monsalve is a seeker of love, a passionate soul that craves beauty in every moment of life. An a young artist. choreographer. dancer. her journey of defining herself and her work through movement shifts with every piece she creates. Based in Thornton, Colorado she is a recent graduate with a B.A. in Dance from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Through movement of the body, mind, and voice her work is inspired by the experiences many of us face in life: love, heart break, happiness, loss, joy, anger, frustration and laughter. Her background consist of a combination of Mexican and Venezuelan folklore, West African, jazz, tap and modern. She has had the extreme pleasure of working with Erika Randall, Gabriel Masson, Susan Marshall and Art Bridgman and Myrna Packer.

Most days you can find her living life to it's fullest and searching for dance in the most unusual place.
