Jeanine McCain
Jeanine McCain is a Philadelphia-based dance artist and educator. She holds an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a BA in Dance and Theatre from the University of Montana. Her current work experiments with improvisation and cross-disciplinary research to develop creative process for live performance. Jeanine’s most recent dance work, Reclamation, was a collaboration with students and faculty at Ursinus College. This project was based in Environmental Studies research and was invited for presentation at the Association for Environmental Studies and Sciences Conference in New York. Her solo work, Things Left Behind, was performed at the American College Dance Festival Association Northeast Regional Conference in 2014. Jeanine has taught and performed as part of cross-cultural exchange projects in Ghana and Ecuador. She has been involved with You and Me in the past, and it is one of her favorite performance experiences. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Dance at Ursinus College.
