Rachel Oliver
Rachel Oliver, originally from Missoula, MT, is content to be nestled back into the Rocky Mountains. After living all over the country, she
feels at home in the Boulder community and the great outdoors. Currently dabbling in a little dance cinema, she’s inspired by the often-unnoticed art in of the everyday and the human connections, challenges and inspirations that drive her work. Rachel recently toured an evening length piece, Sticks & Stones, to Boulder and Philadelphia, with co-choreographer Kate Speer. She has been teachin and choreographing dance for the past 6 years, enjoying the enthusiasm and willingness of dancers of all ages. She graduated with a double major in biochemistry and dance from Beloit College in Wisconsin and is currently pursuing her MFA in Dance at CU-Boulder as an Arts and Sciences Fellow.
