Serena Chopra is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Denver, a 2009 graduate of University of Colorado at Boulder’s MFA program, and a 2011-2013 Writer-In-Residence at RedLine Gallery in Denver. Her chapbook, "Penumbra" was released 2012 from Flying Guillotine Press and her full-length book, "This Human," was released from Coconut Books in 2013. She was a finalist for the 2011 Dorset prize and a 2010 Kundiman fellow. Serena is also a dancer with Evolving Doors Dance Company in Boulder, a visual artist and a performer and co-founder of the all-female poet’s theater group, GASP. She lives and works in Denver.
