Stephanie Tuley
Stephanie Tuley likes making dances, dancing, reading, thinking, baking and having ontological conversations. She has just returned from a four-month research trip to Australia, where she was studying the relationship between national identity and Australian ballet pedagogical practices. Her trip, which was an unforgettable romp through the studios and libraries along the Aussie East Coast, was funded by an Endeavour Research Fellowship from the Australian government. Right now, Stephanie is busy writing about this research for her MFA thesis at The University of Colorado at Boulder. She is passionate about dance history, and is a voracious reader of dancers' biographies. Stephanie and her husband spend their free time playing complicated board games with too many pieces. Their dog, Apollo, likes to watch the board games and offer helpful advice in the form of sitting on their feet.
